TRIPTI

Impact Evaluation

The Odisha Rural Livelihoods Project (TRIPTI) is a World Bank assisted project that provides credit and supports the development of livelihoods for women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs), implemented by the Government of Odisha. The project ought to improve SHG based access to credit; and to build institutional capacity for these SHGs so that they can effectively serve the rural poor in the their villages. Between 2009 and 2014, the project reached a target population of 1.2 million women in the most backward areas of the state. The Social Observatory has worked in collaboration with TRIPTI since 2011.
